Ever wanted to hear the straight facts about Acupuncture and Fertility from a Fertility Doctor? Here’s your chance!
Leading up to National Infertility Awareness Week, two accomplished doctors of Eastern and Western medicine will collaborate in a one-of-a-kind Toronto workshop, designed to inform couples struggling with infertility - and the health professionals who care for them – about powerful new practices supporting the integration of traditional Chinese medicine and artificial reproductive therapy.
It’s believed that as many as one in six Canadian couples is affected by infertility. Dr. Tanya Smith, Toronto’s only Fellow of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine (FABORM) and founder of women’s holistic health clinic Lifecycles Wellness, and Dr. Paul Magarelli, acclaimed author, researcher, fertility doctor and Associate Professor in the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility at University of New Mexico, know first-hand that those numbers can be greatly reduced with acupuncture, a form of traditional Chinese medicine. Drs. Magarelli and Smith will discuss the latest research on how acupuncture can regulate stress, balance hormones and optimize your chances of conceiving naturally or with IVF, in their May 10 event, open to the public.
