Babywearing 101

Jenna Robertson, student midwife and Bummi’s carrier consultant will take you through a variety of different options, the pros and cons of each and have some carriers for you to try out. Essential for any parent thinking of using a carrier.


Everything You Need to Know About Feeding Your Baby

This workshop will take you step-by-step through the stages your baby will go through, from breastmilk to formula along with how and when to start to introduce solids. Nutrition for the postpartum mom will also be covered. Lianne Phillipson-Webb is a Registered Nutritionist and author of Sprout Right - From Tummy to Toddler. She is a wealth of no-nonsense information and advice about feeding yourself and your new baby. Her recipes are both nutritious and well-loved by parents and babies across the city.

Postpartum Fitness

Your body has undergone a tremendous change during pregnancy and now you want to start to get your fitness back. Learn how to recover your core strength, how much activity to do and when, and how to lose your pregnancy weight in a healthy way. Natasha Marchand is a prenatal and postnatal fitness instructor, a birth doula and a hypnobirthing facilitator.

Acupressure Baby Massage for Common Childhood Conditions

Prepare yourself to deal with fever, colic, common colds and more with simple, easy to apply acupressure massage for infants. You will go home with a handy reference manual to help guide you and a daily massage routine for good health. Tanya Smith, Dr of Chinese Medicine will teach the basics of infant massage and what to do with particular conditions so you have the essentials to care for your baby through whatever comes along.
