Creating a positive sense of challenge is a strategy long used by Tibetan Buddhists to get us meditating. The challenge here is to meditate every day for 30 days within a reflective and supportive community of fellow challengees. Coordinated through the internet, people can participate at times convenient to them and past challenges have included people as far away as China. The challenge will happen through a Facebook group; an in-person Facebook orientation will be provided in Toronto prior to the challenge for those needing an introduction to this social medium. Sherap Andrea Winn will facilitate the challenge by:
1. Fostering an inspired, reflective and supportive community,
2. Providing tools for stepping into the challenge,
3. Providing a space to log your daily meditation,
4. Providing weekly meditation readings,
5. Answering questions about the practice both within the group context and 1-on-1, and
6. Providing tools for harvesting the fruits of your work at the end.
